What to Expect at the First Annual Los Angeles French Fry Festival — and the FryDay Fries You Can't Miss

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — LOS ANGELES, CA. Mark your calendar, LA: the first annual Los Angeles French Fry Festival July 11 is almost here, and FryDay — recently featured on KTLA 5 News — is one of the vendors you will not want to miss. The celebration takes over the Autry Museum of the American West this summer, and we have everything you need to plan your perfect fry day. Watch the KTLA 5 preview here: The First-Ever Los Angeles French Fry Festival Is Coming to the Autry Museum.

Whether you are a lifelong fry fanatic or just looking for the best food event of the summer, here is your complete guide to the Los Angeles French Fry Festival July 11 — plus the FryDay loaded fries worth building your visit around.

The Essentials: Date, Location, and Sessions

The first-ever Los Angeles French Fry Festival is happening Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Autry Museum of the American West, 4700 Western Heritage Way, Los Angeles. Presented by Street Food Cinema, the festival is split into three sessions so you can pick the time that fits your day: an early session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., an afternoon session from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., and an evening session from 6 to 9 p.m.

General admission starts at $30.03 per person including fees. Children ages 3 and up require tickets, and VIP tickets and VIP areas are exclusive to guests 21 and older. With a lineup this big, we would recommend grabbing your session early.

What Is on the Menu Across the Festival

The whole point of the Los Angeles French Fry Festival July 11 is fries in every form imaginable. Expect shoestring, steak fries, waffle fries, curly fries, tornado potato, crinkle cut, potato wedges, poutine, sweet potato, Cajun fries, beef tallow fries, and everything in between. Beyond the food, there are French fry-eating contests and live cooking demonstrations throughout the day.

It is a fry lover's paradise — and a perfect showcase for what makes LA's food scene so special: creativity, diversity, and a little friendly competition.

The FryDay Fries You Can't Miss

Here is where we come in. As one of the vendors KTLA 5 highlighted, FryDay is bringing the loaded fries that made us an LA favorite. Do not leave the Los Angeles French Fry Festival without trying at least one: our Nashville Hot Chicken Loaded Fries stack crispy fries with buttermilk-brined heat that hits just right; our Caribbean Jerk Loaded Fries bring bold, island-inspired spice; our Mango Habanero Loaded Fries deliver the sweet-heat combo LA cannot get enough of; and our BBQ Bacon Loaded Fries are the smoky comfort classic that keeps the line moving.

These are the same flavors we have served at NBA All-Star Weekend, LA Dodgers playoff games, and the BET Fan Experience — now available for one unforgettable day at the Autry Museum.

Tips for the Perfect Fry Festival Day

Come hungry and pace yourself — with this many fries, strategy matters. Bring friends so you can split plates and taste more. Check the session times before you buy, and if you are rolling with a 21-and-up crew, look into the VIP areas. Most importantly, come say hi to the FryDay truck and tell us your favorite loaded fry.

The Los Angeles French Fry Festival July 11 is shaping up to be one of the summer's best days out in LA, and FryDay is proud to be part of it from the very first year.
