FryDay loaded fries at a live event
As Seen on KTLA 5: FryDay Brings Its Loaded Fries to the LA French Fry Festival at the Autry Museum
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — LOS ANGELES, CA. If you caught KTLA 5 recently, you already know: the first-ever LA French Fry Festival is coming, and FryDay is one of the vendors bringing the flavor. Los Angeles' hometown loaded fries truck earned a spotlight on KTLA 5 News as the station previewed the citywide celebration hitting the Autry Museum of the American West on Saturday, July 11, 2026. See it for yourself: The First-Ever Los Angeles French Fry Festival Is Coming to the Autry Museum (KTLA 5).
Being counted among the LA French Fry Festival vendors is a career milestone for a truck that started in Van Nuys and built its name in backyards, ballparks, and block parties across the San Fernando Valley. Now the whole city gets to taste what the neighborhoods already know.
KTLA 5 Puts the Spotlight on LA's First Fry Festival
The KTLA 5 feature introduced Angelenos to a festival built entirely around fries — every cut, every style, every over-the-top loaded creation you can imagine. For a food truck like FryDay, that is home turf. We do not just make fries; we make loaded fries that turn a side dish into the main event.
Getting named on air alongside the other LA French Fry Festival vendors tells you exactly what kind of company FryDay is keeping on July 11: some of the most creative fry-makers in Southern California, all under one roof at the Autry Museum.
Everything You Need to Know About the Festival
Presented by Street Food Cinema, the first annual LA French Fry Festival takes place Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Autry Museum of the American West, 4700 Western Heritage Way in Los Angeles. There are three sessions to choose from: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., and 6 to 9 p.m.
Alongside the vendor lineup, the festival features French fry-eating contests and live cooking demonstrations. General admission starts at $30.03 including fees, and VIP areas are reserved for guests 21 and older. Whether you are a shoestring purist or a loaded-fry maximalist, there is a session — and a plate — with your name on it.
Where to Find FryDay on July 11
Look for the FryDay truck and come hungry. We are bringing the fan favorites that made us one of the LA French Fry Festival vendors worth seeking out: Nashville Hot Chicken Loaded Fries with that signature buttermilk heat, bold Caribbean Jerk Loaded Fries, sweet-and-spicy Mango Habanero Loaded Fries, and smoky BBQ Bacon Loaded Fries that disappear fast.
These are the same loaded fries we have served at NBA All-Star Weekend, LA Dodgers playoff games, the BET Fan Experience, LA Galaxy tailgates, and UCLA events. The Autry Museum crowd is about to find out why fans across LA, Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, and Santa Monica keep lining up.
A Proud Moment for a Community-First Truck
FryDay was founded on the Fourth of July, 2019, with a simple idea: gourmet loaded fries that bring people together. Every event we have catered — from Long Beach weddings to Sherman Oaks backyard parties to LAUSD fundraisers — has been about community. Standing among the LA French Fry Festival vendors, featured on KTLA 5, is proof that showing up for your neighborhood pays off.
We cannot wait to see you July 11 at the Autry Museum. Bring your appetite, bring your crew, and let's make the first-ever LA French Fry Festival one for the books.
